No. That’s all I have to say about that.

Nope, I don’t believe we’ll be getting closure. The costume designer for 90210 said and I quote, “I wish I could say that they are giving characters closure but that would be a lie. They aren’t even bringing anyone back.” I think the finale will be a mess leaving the fans unsatisfied and cheated.

Anonymous said: Do you think season 4 of 90210 was the worst?

As a whole, yes I believe season 4 has been the worst season of 90210. Aside from some bright points (Dixon/Adrianna, Liam/Silver, Caleb/Annie and Gillian’s performance when Raj died) the season was a disappointment. I thought instead of developing the characters and their personalities they were thrown into the most random of story lines and the stupidest of hookups. Let’s be real here, did anyone like Liam/Jane? Ivy/Nick? Silver/Greg? Annie/Patrick? No! I know I sure as hell didn’t.

Season four was a bore for the most part. Out of 24 episodes I believe I enjoyed possibly 5 episodes as a whole. I found myself just waiting on Dixon/Adrianna scenes and just tolerating the rest of what was happening.

I know it sounds as though I totally despise the show, but I honestly do believe that the fans that have been invested since the beginning have the most criticism and issues with the direction the show has taken. I don’t hate 90210 at all, I just can’t understand for the life of me how the show is in its fifth season and we still can’t figure out who these characters are.

They have the actors/actresses to portray a good, solid, dramatic story line, but the writers seem to play it safe and like to stay in their comfort zone. Dixon’s drug use story line had the potential to be epic with Tristan’s acting skills, but they didn’t take it there. We saw him get a nosebleed, that was pretty much the extent of it. When Adrianna had a drug problem in the first season, that was written well and acted out perfectly by Jessica Lowndes, I just don’t know why the writers decided to pretty much give us the Disney channel version of Dixon’s drug use.

I’m not going to pick out every single scene, story line I’ve had issues with during season 4, I’ll just end with this… Season four had the potential to be remembered for being good, instead it’s the season I had the least fun watching. Dixon and Adrianna were the high point for me and will continue to be the high point for me this season until the writers decide to mess that up too.

Anonymous said: if Dixon and Ade weren't together would you still watch 90210 every week?

I’ve been asked this question before by a few people, but for some reason I’ve always failed to post an answer, so I will now. Dixon and Adrianna are the main reason why I still watch 90210. I would say 95% of my interest is because of them and the other 5% is distributed to the other characters (minus Navid).

If this show has proved anything to me in the past it’s that Dixon and Adrianna will most likely break up, grow a part, and ultimately be forgotten like other main character couples (ex. Liam/Annie, Dixon/Silver, Liam/Naomi). If that happens, if Dixon and Adrianna become one of those “remember them” couples there’s a good chance I won’t be as driven and excited to watch a new episode.

I have no problems with the actors who play the characters, I just have a problem with the way the show has been written. It lacks consistency, substance, development and I feel as though the show relies on it’s guest stars to get people to tune in (especially this upcoming season). Dixon and Adrianna are the only real entertainment and joy I get from watching this show, if the writing was better I would probably be more hyped up for it every week like I was during the first 2 seasons.

For everyone who has sent me a message asking me where they can download the 90210 Season 4 gag reel, the answer would be, I don’t know because I bought the DVD and that’s how I managed to make all the gifs.
